From the north: Go to the end of the M5 and then take the A30 westbound signposted Okehampton. From the south: Go to where the A38 joins the M5 and take the A30 westbound signposted Okehampton. Then take the A30 for 7 miles and turn off at the exit called Fingle Glen (take care because it is a right turn across the dual carriageway and it is a dangerous turn). At the roundabout that you come to almost immediately, turn right. Then go about half a mile, past the caravan park called Pathfinder Village, and just after the end of the 30 limit turn left up Heath Lane. Go up Heath Lane (it is very steep at the top). At the top there is a crossroads called Heath Cross. Go straight over this (signposted Crediton and Oldridge). After about a quarter of a mile turn right (signposted Whitestone Church). Go along this road for about a mile, passing a riding stables on the left called Glebe farm, with palm trees(!) outside. About half a mile past Glebe Farm bear right where the road forks (very high up, and right by a BT transmission mast). Go down this lane for about half a mile and we are the first entrance on the left (it is a concealed entrance and easy to miss, but it is signposted PITT FARM). If you see Whitestone Church on your right and/or a right turn you have come too far, but only 100 yards, so turn round in the turning and come back and then turn right into the drive. We are down a farm track about 1/4 mile long, straight on through the wooden gates at the end of the track.
Westernlancia has been gaining a reputation for friendly, high-quality service at very competitive prices since 2004. We have over 30 years of experience of fighting rust and repairing bodywork, having had to start treating rust at the tender age of 15 on our Fiat 125 Special when it was 1 year old in 1973. Please see the photo gallery for examples of our work. As you can see from some of the detail shots, we are VERY thorough, and we do our work with the aim that it shouldn’t need doing again for some considerable time. This attitude comes from owning classic cars long-term. If you own a car for 10 or 20 years you don’t want to keep redoing the rust, so it is vital to get it right first time. We extend this attitude towards our customers’ cars. |
