Colour coat going on – a rear view…

Masked off and rubbed down, from the rear…

…so we removed all the panels – including even the front wings and the springs (which we also painted off the car)

…then we butt-welded a new panel flush where the rot had been. No filler needed…

Now for a TOTAL strip-down. The owner wanted a ‘better than factory’ job…

Apart from the windscreen, almost the only rust on the car was two small areas that were invisible with the rear bumper on
